CGC, Let's Help Tell an Amazing Story! "Beating the Odds" Update.
Friends of CGCers have made a documentary about the peaceful, even miraculous, transition from dictatorship to democracy in Malawi. It's called Beating the Odds. The official website is here:

Though the film was made, and aired on Malawi television before the last election in May, it is not yet finished. They need help mastering the final film cut to DVDs, then they need to produce, publish and distribute alternative-langague versions throughout Africa, and the world. This is a story that should not be forgotten! But to finish the project, it will take money.
So we at CGC may have a chance to help bring this story about true Justice to the world! We are investigating the possibilities of holding fund raisers or even benefit viewings of the film. Stay tuned!

That time to help has arrived! We have digital copies of the film that aired on Malawi television. It is quite a story and an inspiring film! What are we going to do? We can help set up benefit viewings of the film to raise the money needed to finish the project. That will let this inspiring story be told not only in the far reaches of rural Malawi, but across the whole world.
We can have a benefit viewing at CGC, but we can also have them elsewhere. If you have ideas about where viewings could be held or would like to volunteer at a viewing please contact us here. Details about upcoming viewings will be posted on this site.
